A Thai worker was wounded by a rocket fired by Palestinians into Israel on Saturday, but is recovering from his wounds, a senior Thai labour ministry official said.
Supat Gukun, director of the Ministry of Labour's Bureau of Coordination for International Cooperation, said he had received a report from the Thai labour attache in Israel that the worker had received a slight wound and was now recovering.
The wounded worker is being given a proper care by his employer, said Mr. Supat.
He said the Labour Ministry had warned Thai workers to avoid working near the Gaza Strip due to frequent clashes in the area.
