American Decline, the New Anti-Semitism, and the Fate of Israel

The Jewish Policy Center sponsored two Policy Forum programs in November. Best-selling author and nationally syndicated radio host – and JPC Fellow – Michael Medved moderated the discussion entitled, “American Decline, the New Anti-Semitism, and the Fate of Israel.” In Detroit, John Podhoretz, editor of Commentary Magazine; Shoshana Bryen, Senior Director of the JPC; and Daniel Pipes, founder and director of Middle East Forum spoke before an enthusiastic audience at Congregation Shaarey Zedek. In Philadelphia, Cliff May, President of Foundation for Defense of Democracies joined the panel at Temple Beth Hillel.

Please click to hear their thoughts on the implications of declining American influence in the Middle East, the corresponding – if temporary – rise of Russia, the Syrian civil war, the expansion of Iran’s nuclear program and how a military option might be used against it.
