Introducing Our New Director of Policy

Washington, DC – The Jewish Policy Center is pleased to announce that Gabriel Scheinmann has joined the organization as Director of Policy. He will focus on national security and defense issues, while expanding the JPC’s influence among policymakers and in government.

“We are thrilled to have Gabe onboard at this crucial time,” said JPC Executive Director Matthew Brooks. “The Jewish Policy Center is growing not only in size, but in impact on Washington’s policy community and on the Jewish community across the country. Gabe is poised to be an integral part of that growth.”

Mr. Scheinmann is also a Ph.D. candidate in International Relations at Georgetown University, where his dissertation focuses on alliances. He is a contributing analyst at Wikistrat and, for the past five years, has served as a Research Associate to the Japan Chair at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He is a Rumsfeld Graduate Fellow and was a Visiting Fellow at the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs, where he was the Editor of the Security Digest.

His articles have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, The American Interest, The National Interest, Time.com, the Jerusalem Post, and Defense News. He has also published in several journals, including The Washington Quarterly, Orbis, and Tower Magazine.

He holds a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.A. from Georgetown University.
