Explosion kills 3 Palestinians in southern Gaza

Three Palestinian militants died Tuesday in an explosion near the the southern Gaza city of Rafah, Hamas security and Gaza medical services officials told CNN.

Those killed were members of the Popular Resistance Committee, which opposes peace talks with Israel, the sources said.

The officials said the three were killed at a training field near Rafah.

The Israeli military said it was not involved.
