On December 1st, Matthew RJ Brodsky, Director of Policy for the Jewish Policy Center discussed the ongoing violence in Syria and the recent explosions in Iran.
The Obama administration intervened in Libya so why is the U.S. sitting on the sidelines as thousands are being killed in Syria by the Asad regime? On Capital Insider, Brodsky discusses the differences between Libya and Syria from an American foreign policy standpoint. He explains why the devil we know in Syria is worse than the devil we don't know, given Asad's track record of supporting terrorism and nurturing jihadists who have crossed from Syria into Iraq to kill American soldiers. If the Asad regime fell, the new leadership would likely be dominated by Sunni Muslims and naturally opposed to the policies of Shi'a Iran. Brodsky also discusses the latest mystery explosions in Iran.
