Gaza pilgrims head to Saudi Arabia for Umrah

CAIRO (Ma'an) -- Over 400 pilgrims from the Gaza Strip left for Saudi Arabia on Tuesday via the Rafah crossing, border officials said.
Crossing official Sami al-Mutawalli said 460 pilgrims departed for Mecca to perform the Islamic pilgrimage of Umrah.
Over 1,000 Palestinian pilgrims will fly back on Wednesday via El-Arish airport, he added.
