Rockets from Gaza Strip fall on Southern Israel

Rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip toward targets in southern Israel on Saturday, a spokesman of the Israeli Army said.

The army spokesman told the media that Palestinian activists unleashed their rockets towards the town of Eshkol southern Israel.

The rockets fell on a deserted area with no injuries or properties damage occurring.

No Palestinian faction claimed responsibility for the incident.

Later, a spokesman of the Israeli Army denied that rockets crashed into southern Israeli earlier today.

Sirens blared by error in the town of Eshkol, he said, adding that army troops combed nearby areas and found no traces of missiles.
