CNN reports that the professor who compared 9/11 victims to Nazis was canned by the University of Colorado.
In a 2002 essay, Professor Ward Churchill argued that 9/11 was a justified reaction to U.S. Middle East policy , and that 9/11 terrorists had "the courage of their convictions." The essay called 9/11 victims "little Eichmanns" -- referring to Gestapo officer Adolf Eichmann, a chief Holocaust architect.
Disappointing, however, was CU's announcement that Churchill's firing was unrelated to the essay, but rather "deliberate and repeated research misconduct," including plagiarism and falsification.
