Mainstream Arab media is now aware that Hamas is awful for Gaza. The London-based ash-Sharq al-Awsat observes:
Residents say Gaza is "miserable and suffocated." According to one rights group, "law is absent as a result of a paralysis in the legislative tools – all of which have been replaced by Hamas's Executive Force."
Health and sanitation are poor due to a lack of hospital and medical staff, resulting in "unprecedented paralysis." In one area, sewer pipes burst, flooding homes and businesses with sewage several meters high.
The education sector may be unprepared for the new school year starting in September.
We've blogged about it for weeks. But it's nice to know the Arab media sees it, too. Read the piece here.
