The Lebanon Daily Star ran a great feature story today about a satirical play running at the Rashad Shawa Cultural Center in Gaza called al-Watan (The Nation). The play is a mock trial of both Hamas and Fatah. Both are found "guilty of killing the people and the nation."
The "trial" is tagged with the number 48.67.2007 - referring to the three seminal dates in the tragic Palestinian history, the 1948 War of Independence for Israel, the 1967 Six Day War, and now the Palestinian Civil War of 2007.
Some cast members fear Hamas could seek vengeance. After all, Hamas has brutally cracked down on its rivals, as described here.
