Hamas Halts More Freedoms in Gaza
According to the al-Jazeera network's website, Hamas has banned unlicensed demonstrations by the Fatah party, its political rival, in Gaza. This comes after Hamas forces beat Fatah demonstrators on Monday.
Hamas, according to al-Jazeera, has also closed a pro-Fatah TV station, radio station, and news agency. Indeed, Hamas controls all electronic media in Gaza, except one radio station linked to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, another Iran-backed terrorist organization.
We noted last week in this blog that the Talibanization of Gaza has begun. This is yet another example.
