Iran Still Not Afraid of War with US

Iran's state media says the video and audio recordings of Iranian Revolutionary Guards boats confronting US warships in the Strait of Hormuz were fabricated, according to al-Jazeera. Curiously, the Iranian Republic News Agency does not even make mention of the incident on its English website.

How Iran can pretend that this did not happen is astonishing. See the YouTube video footage here.

As I argued in the summer issue of inFocus Quarterly, Iran is simply unafraid of the United States. Our lack of response to Iranian aggression continues to invite even more Iranian aggression.
