State Dept: Overlap of Anti-Zionism & Anti-Semitism

Jews worldwide are facing a new form of anti-Semitism disguised by hatred toward Israel, in addition to more traditional forms of anti-Semitism, according to a new report issued, the AFP notes.
"This new anti-Semitism is common throughout the Middle East and in Muslim communities in Europe, but it is not confined to these populations," the US State Department said in a report for 2007.
Even before this report was issued, Kenneth Marcus wrote about the dangerous and growing overlap between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism in the newest edition of inFOCUS Quarterly.
