Khashan Hammers Norton, TooLast year, I wrote a scathing review of Augustus Richard Norton's book, Hezbollah. Hilal Khashan from the American University of Beirut agrees with me. Writing in the latest Middle East Quarterly , Khashan notes that Norton's book "fails miserably. Norton summarily dismisses Hezbollah's terrorist credentials... and...ignores the organic linkage between Hezbollah and Iran's Islamic Republic."Khashan concludes: "Norton's book is the literary equivalent of antifreeze laced Chinese toothpaste.
