Yesterday Israel hit Hamas in the pocketbook, banning 36 Palestinian charities for supporting Hamas' terrorist infrastructure.

The charities are subsidiaries of the Union of Good. The UG, founded in 2000, consists of 50 charities that fund families of suicide bombers, finance nefarious Hamas projects, and elicit support from Islamists worldwide.

The UG is headed by Dr. Yusuf Al-Qardawi who has provided rulings in support of Palestinian suicide bombings. He stated in 2002 that "collecting money for the mujahideen (jihad fighters) was not a donation or a gift but a duty..."
