An interesting read.. although why would anyone Jewish want to specialize in Egypt's history is beyond me.
Also, Joshua would benefit to read Caroline Glick's account of Israel's view - whether democratic or theocratic it won't make any difference in terms of Anti-Semitism and hatred towards Israel. Then perhaps he wouldn't feel such pain for Egyptian stranger's suffering - they would cetainly not give a damn if an Israeli or any Jew is killed.
