I second the motion

Reader comment on: Advice to the Next President About the Middle East
in response to reader comment: Kenneth Stein Does it Again.

Submitted by Dr. Bruce Maddy-Weitzman (Israel), Oct 1, 2008 08:37

Admittedly, I'm biased. When one of my mentors and friends praises another, what do you expect? But I can only echo Meron Medzini's praise: Ken Stein's primer should be required reading for everyone concerned with the future of the Middle East. And it should be obvious to all that "nurturing transformation" in an area in which the pace of political cultural change is glacial is not for the faint of heart or for those who operate on impulse.
