Reader comment on: Terrorists Turning to "Body Bombs"?

Submitted by David (United States), Jul 15, 2011 16:13

The screeners can't detect a body bomb? Really? Well, that's fascinating, and we should get right on that, but maybe, before TSA and its collection of highly untrained security gropers obtain government authority to perform exploratory surgery on randomly selected passengers, we might reflect on the fact that there's no real evidence that they can detect bombs in suitcases.

Having had the pleasure of flying yesterday, I can tell you that I felt no safer; merely convinced that, if someone wanted to blow up my plane with a bomb in his suitcase (or his buttocks), it would only be the final episode in a series of indignities that began when I arrived at the screening point.
