I had read Feldman's Nation article and was pretty disgusted (I left a comment calling her a self-hating Jewish American Princess, which frankly is a type I hadn't known existed).

my daughter went on a Birthright trip last year and loved it, even tho it was, yes, clearly pro-Israel. and why not???

Feldman, I thought, scammed the Birthright people by gladly taking their free trip, all the while thinking of them as colonialist oppressors. not a pretty picture.
