Reader comment on: The Academy and the Palestinian Refugees

Submitted by Al Sapowith (United States), Jan 9, 2009 11:23

1) The 700,000 Arabs displaced by the '48 war were balanced by an equivalent number of Jews driven from Arab lands.

2) While the 700,000 Arabs have been festering (by Arab design) for a half century some 100,000,000 million displaced peoples from WWII have been long since been forgotten.

3) The claim by the displaced Arabs that their families had been living in Palestine for a 1000 years or more is a lie. The Arab population of Palestine swelled from the 1800's due to the reentry of Jews. Hardly 1/3 of these Arabs can trace their families back more than 200 years (ie 1750).
