From Watergate to Hugo Chavez, an exdiplonat's memoirs, by Gonzalo T. Palacios, Ph.D. who served in the Embassy of Venezuela to the White House from 1974 until 1999, and

VENEZUELA XXI La Revolucion de la Estupidez, published in Bogota, 2011. With the exception of President Lopez Contreras, Gonzalo Palacios denounces the stupidities of Venezuela's rulers from the Colonial times until Chavez.
