Who writes an article and refers to people as "so called" ???? The fight isn't over and it will continue until this barbaric practice is outlawed. If a ban on circumcision would "undermine parental rights and religious freedom"....just think what circumcision undermines on a male infant? How about genital integrity and religious freedom for that baby boy. Where are the rights that parents think they have, to control their child's body???? Currently it's legal, but that doesn't make it ethical. NO ONE has the right to make a decision to "alter" another persons genitals, only that person has that right. And general public health? Think again, unless you are willing to say that baby boys are at risk for contracting venereal diseases. Give me a break.
