There are alot of reasons why peace is not obtainable between Israel and Palestine. The first and foremost is that you cannot negotiate with an enemy who wants your destruction, Its like negotiating with the Devil. Appeasement never works and at some point there has to be a showdown to establish strength. 2nd Israel would loose more land and push the people out of their homes. Jerusalem is the Capital of Israel...God's chosen Holy City where he put his name!
