The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) must realize that President Obama has been fighting a rear-guard action against climate change deniers from the moment he took office. His inability to put climate change as the No. 1 priority of his administration must be put in that context.
We citizens must also admit that we collectively failed in 2010 to lobby and vote for congressional and state representatives who refuse to sell out to big oil and other producers of the pollution that threatens our planet. The bottom line? Endorsement for President Obama's reelection is a no brainer. Republican presidential candidates Romney, Santorum, Gingrich or Paul, if elected, would not support LCV's goals and thus we must work against their election by encouraging conservationists to not only vote in November but to vote for President Obama.
