Iran and Syria Alliance

Reader comment on: The Syria-Iran Alliance

Submitted by Dedar (Pakistan), Mar 24, 2009 05:49

One common binding factor between Iran and Syria is their Shiite religion. Unlike Sunnis, Shias are ruled by their spiritual leaders.

Iran has the Sway over all the Shias around the world. No matter where ever they live, they all share one common goal of expanding the Shiite revolution by Proselytizing the ordinary Sunnis to Shi'ism.

Iranian Proselytizing of Sunnis continues till this day and they have been successful to greater extent in areas like Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt.
