President O'bama's Energy Policy

Reader comment on: Measuring Obama's Environmental Record

Submitted by J. Millman (United States), Apr 26, 2012 17:58

In actuality the title should be "Lack of Energy Policy."

The President has done all he can to quell energy research, shut down active drilling offshore and in Alaska. His policies have brought us back to the Stone Age in terms of energy development. We have a 30 year back up in refineries and no clear policies to help us improve our situation other than his financial shenanigans funding so-called "green" energy industries.

Additionally, his Middle East policies have put us in a precarious position politically. Israel who has natural gas in a bundance has been shut out of the energy loop and he has repeatedly shown the Arab and European countries his disdain for Israel's leaders and Israel's clear democratic ideals.

The answer to our energy problems will be to elect a new administration in November. This administration has clearly failed us on many levels.
