Excellent article. I'm not Jewish, nor would I consider myself part of an so-called Israel Lobby. There are many American's who are pro-Israel because of shared values and just plain commonsense. Consequently, I deeply resent the implication that everyone who is pro-Israel is somehow being manipulated. If this supposed lobby is so powerful, why is their growing anti-Semitism in academia, Europe, and America? Authors like Fleshler are playing a dangerous game with their trendy posturing at the expense of real peace in the Middle East.
