Terms of "Peace"

Reader comment on: Paying in Advance

Submitted by J. Glueck (United States), Jul 30, 2013 11:19

The terms agreed to by Israel are ludicrous. They are a recipe for more war, whether it's the constant low-grade terrorism or worse. If Israel agrees to the demands of the Palestinians, minus the right of return, the terrorists would have the state within the borders of Israel as we know it today. The only real peace would have come if the victors, Israel, would have imposed terms of surrender and surrounded a demilitarized people with whom we could build relationships. All military and police activities would be coordinated with Israel. Perpetrators of violence would be summarily and permanently deported. The victor imposes terms of peace, not a recipe for further war.
