scary times

I'm a believer in free speech, for sure, but the sheer prospect of Ahmadinejad being within two miles of my apartment was terrifying. There's so much about this event that I don't understand. What was the point of having him there, other than PR for Columbia? What was the point of Bollinger's introduction, which sounded like an announcer's intro of a wrestler at the WWF? What, if anything, did that achieve?
