I do agree with that. Arab states do claim victory when it is the opposite..EXCEPT for yom kippur war. Egypt was the one who was able to march in Tel Aviv. It had made succesful advance after regaining control of Sinai. This war has been studied very well at many poilitical and military institutes. The thing that stopped it was its Anti-aircraft missile coverage of its armored vehicles advancing into Israel.
Other than that yes this is very true.
