Would Iran be a threat to Israel today if its natural enemy Iraq was still a threat to it? George Bush's decision to decimate Iraq took Iran's natural enemy out of the equation. Bush could have surgically removed Saddam Hussein in a way that would not have freed Iran to behave in the way it is behaving. Those who argued loudest that the war in Iraq be fought the way it was were on the Conservative side. Is there any wonder that Jews largely reject them?
