Obama in Denial

Reader comment on: Obama Attempts To Delay Iranian Sanctions Bill

Submitted by D from NYC (United States), Oct 16, 2009 04:56

Seems like Obama is trying to put off the inevitable and is in denial about having to ultimately pull the MILITARY trigger - a most decidedly unpalatable but almost certainly necessary thing to do. Nothing short of that will probably convince the mullahs to change course on their nuclear weapons program.

Obama already tried the diplomatic approach and reached out his hand to the Iranians in good faith. Unfortunately, the Iranians promptly bit it by their defiant refusal to give up their nuclear weapons program. So what is Obama waiting for?!! A fait accompli by Iran in the form of a successful nuclear weapons test so he can throw his hands up and say that the world - and Israel - must accept a nuclear armed Iran?
