Unintended consequence (or maybe not) - more Muslim immigration to the U.S.
Reader comment on: Europe's Burqa Battle

Over the last few years, I have observed a much higher presence of Muslims in traditional dress on the streets of NYC. I suspect this is attributable not only to adaption of retro styles by pre-existing U.S. Muslim population but much higher level of new immigration. Wil the U.S. become the destination of choice?
It is wonderful that in America one can worship and dress however one wishes but I fear that many of the problems witnessed in Europe will make their way to our shores.
