      Nouri al-Maliki nomination for prime minister of Iraq has been withdrawn.

      The former prime minister of Iraq is seen as very subservient to Iran. His nomination was opposed by Trump who wrote on Truth Social that al-Maliki would be a disaster for Iraq.
