Israeli security raided the offices of the “Islamic Movement” in the northern Israeli town of Umm al-Fahm, accusing the Islamist group of Hamas support, al-Jazeera reports.
Dozens of police officers and security personnel took part in the raid. Documents, computers and hundreds of thousands of dollars were confiscated. The organization, long suspected of supporting terror, is believed to have channeled funds to the Hadawa organization in East Jerusalem, a Hamas charity. Some of the Islamic Movement’s bank accounts were also frozen.
