Hamas announced a new online video venue for glorifying its violent ideology. “AqsaTube” is devoted entirely to propaganda and incitement against Israel, terrorism, and radical Islam.
In the third edition of inFOCUS, Mark Dubowitz noted how Hamas and Hezbollah media indoctrinates teens and children. Hamas TV, for example, praises suicide bombings and martyrdom, using Disney character look-a-likes. In another inFOCUS piece, he adds that Hamas, Hezbollah and other jihad groups exploit Western freedoms to disseminate propaganda while labeling criticism as “Islamophobic.”
Last May, Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) demanded that Youtube remove content praising terrorism. Although Youtube has a liberal free speech policy, the most egregious clips were removed.
