The Jewish Policy Center expresses its shock and sadness over the coordinated terrorist attacks that took place this week in Mumbai, India.

The attacks, which included explosives, grenades and automatic rifles, simultaneously targeted two hotels, a railway station, and several tourist landmarks in Mumbai, which is the financial and commercial heart of India. According to the latest reports, 195 people were killed. Among them were at least 9 Israelis, including Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and his wife, Rivka, who were slain in cold blood in Mumbai’s Chabad House.

It is still unclear whether the attacks were homegrown, or if they were the work of al-Qaeda or one of its affiliate groups. It has now been confirmed that at least seven terrorists have been linked back to Britain.
