Event Date: March 14, 2019 @ 12pm

Location: 50 F St NW, Lower Level Conference Room, Washington, DC 20001

Please join the Jewish Policy Center and the Republican Jewish Coalition for a special conversation with Itamar Marcus, Founder and Director of Palestinian Media Watch.

Marcus has published hundreds of reports and articles on Palestinian society, education and media exposing PA hate and terror promotion in education, sports, culture and other frameworks the PA controls. PMW was the organization to expose that the PA rewards imprisoned terrorists with salaries, and has led the international campaign to cut the donor aid to the PA that they use to reward terrorists. PMW’s work has led to many cuts in donor funding and to America’s Taylor Force Act.

PMW’s work is changing the way the world sees the PA. Marcus has made numerous presentations in the Foreign Affairs Committee of Congress and other parliaments. In 2017, he spoke to members of over 20 different parliaments and in the last month he has spoken to MPs from the Netherlands, Australia, Canada and Brazil impacting significantly on their perceptions of the conflict. His book Deception, co-authored with Nan Jacques Zilberdik, was acclaimed by the founder of Human Rights Watch, Robert Bernstein, as “one of the most important books you handle in your lives.”

Marcus was appointed by the Israel Government to represent Israel in negotiations on incitement with the Palestinian Authority (PA) in 1999. Marcus has received awards from ZOA, Israel Media Watch, and EMET.  Marcus was declared by The Algemeiner newspaper a few years ago, as being among the world’s “top 100 people positively influencing Jewish life or the State of Israel”.

The event is free but registration is required. Please email RSVP@JewishPolicyCenter.org.
