On Thursday, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan opened fire at the Fort Hood military base in Texas, killing 13 people and wounding 30 in only 4 minutes. To read about the fallen 13, click here.
More on Hasan’s jihadist tendencies are now surfacing. According to U.S. intelligence, Hasan attempted to contact al-Qaeda months ago. He also reportedly shouted “Allahu akbar!” – “God is great!” – at the start of his attack.
